Well it happened again! On November 10th, a young bull terrier puppy was found by a group of kids running loose down Carroll Avenue / Carroll Street NW near the Eastern Avenue intersection and they brought the puppy into The Big Bad Woof.

Fortunately Julie was in and instead of letting the kids arrive home with a strange dog, she had all six of them call their respective parents to ask if they could bring a dog home. You can guess the next steps.............

We now have "Sweet Pea" living with us temporarily.......she is as docile and sweet as they come, and appears to be somewhere between 8 mo and 1 year old. We have posted signs, and are running ads in Washington City Paper and the Washington Posts besides all the usual channels of the shelters and online services, and no one has stepped up to claim this beautiful girl!

She gets along great with the other dogs, is quite submissive and gentle. IF we do not hear from the owners by 11/20/05 she will be available for adoption. She will be spayed and I believe will make a great companion for a single person or family.
